How can I log in to my course?
On July 1st, you will receive an email from us with your login details. You will need to reset your password the moment you log in with our details. Please check your spam or junk folder in your email.
Do I need a Teaching Council Number to get 3 EPV days?
Yes. If you are in college and have not received your Teaching Council Number yet, you will not receive your 3 EPV days. If you are not a teacher and just wish to complete the course, please email us first before purchasing, so we know in advance.
When can I access the course?
9am July 1st the course will be released. You can complete the course at your own leisure up until 23:59 20th August. After this time has passed, you will no longer be able to submit forums posts or assignments and your course will not be graded. Please give yourself enough time to complete the course.
I’ve completed my course but have not received my certificate yet?
Please allow up to 3 working days for your tutor to assess your assignment. If there are aspects of the course that you have not fulfilled, you will receive an email from your tutor.
How many hours is the course?
The course will last 10 hours in total and you will need to log the extra 10 hours you do offline. In total, you must complete 20 hours of study in order to qualify for your 3 EPV days, according to the Department of Education.
How do you access my course completion certificate?
When you have successfully met all learning objectives and have logged at least 20 hours of study, your course tutor will assess your progress and award your certificate to you. You will find it in the resource folder of the course.
When is the last date on which I can purchase the course?
August 17th.
In what format do I submit my final assignment?
You may choose to upload your final assignment by PDF or Word document.
Is this course only for primary teachers?
This course has been designed to cater for Irish primary teachers who wish to learn more about sustainability and sewing. This course will provide Irish primary teachers with 3 EPV days, if they hold a Teaching Council Number. However, we believe this course has so much value for everyone, so we can offer it to all.
I am watching all of the videos and listening to the podcast and my logged time is still not being counted as ‘online’?
While we do our best to have all videos embedded in the course, some content will automatically redirect you to a new website/ tab, meaning our system cannot log your time. Please be mindful of this.
My online hours are not being logged correctly?
Please allow the system up to two hours to correctly account for your time spent studying the course. We advise for you to complete the course early so as to avoid any frustration.
